Humphreys Homies | Episode 1 | Hikes & Mics x Grateful Gallivanters

Back in mid June, I got the opportunity to cross an item off my bucket list, climbing Mount Humphreys, Arizona’s tallest peak. At approximately 12,633 feet in elevation, this was a hell of a hike. We braved 40-50 mph wind gusts along the ridge leading up to the peak, hiked up 3 false summits, and endured 70 mph wind gusts at the summit! The views from the top of the peak were amazing, and well worth the price of admission! I’m grateful I got to share that experience with my close friends! This episode was recorded as part of the Hikes & Pics podcast, run by my good friend Ivan. It was recorded before the hike, but I do intend on interviewing each of the guests to see their perspective on the journey up to Humphreys Peak.
